Class Agent: Frances Hagan McCarter
Hello to each of you. I hope each of you are doing well. There want be an interview this time. I thought I would say a few words about Alumni.
It is so much fun to attend alumni each year. I see classmates and friends from other classes. There is so much catching up to do. On Friday night there is registration and a reception followed by a program by one of the Honor Classes. Sabbath begins with song service and welcomes. We even sang our School Song. Quite a few of the younger graduates and students didn't know the song. But the principal promises to use it more often. Remember? "Down in the southern mountains......." I know that is one of my memories.
There is always a good lesson study and sermon by the classes. And just thinking of lunch where we eat delicious food and visit with as many friends as possible.
All this is held in the new Lela Patterson Center. It is beautiful and large enough for everyone. On Saturday night it is open for anyone to use the gym, pool, track, etc.
But the seven from our class spent time together at Connie's. She served her special chili. Those of us that were there: Donna, Connie, Rose, Betty, Nancy, Lorraine and myself. Do you recognize us?

Most of us had been at past Alumni Meetings. But I believe we all could say that the nicest thing was that Lorraine and Fred came from CA to be with us. That was a blessing. The rest of us came from MD, FL, TN and Fletcher.
This is a comment from Nancy: "It's hard to put into words the warm feeling we get when we reunite as a class. There's such a sense of love, acceptance, happiness that we made the effort to come." I agree completely. We missed each of you and did some reminiscing of our years at Fletcher.
I want each of you to start planning for our 50th. It's less than 5 years. A lot can happen in that time. If Christ returns before then, let's meet right inside the gate. We will catch up on everything then.
Shirley Swain Mithchell was unable to attend the reunion. Her Mom was very ill at the time and passed away shortly thereafter. Please remember her and her family in your prayers.
I would still like to hear from each of you, so that I will have more interviews to use this next year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I wish for each of the very best this next year. God bless.
